Giclée Print

"Mr. Marionette's Shop" by Ray Bradbury

Limited Edition, Signed and numbered Lithograph

In 1956, Ray Bradbury created this watercolor painting of "Mr. Marionette's Shop" that was inspired by director James Whale's set design for Happy Anniversary 2116. The play was never produced. In 2009, the project was brought to Steve Josephson and Gallimaufry Performing Arts for development. Merry Christmas 2116 premiered in Laguna Beach and Pasadena, California to rave reviews. With a brand new second act, a workshop production of Ray Bradbury's '2116' premiered at the Edinburgh Festival in August 2010 and subsequently it had it's world premiere production in Prague in 2016.
This beautiful and whimsical design was given to director, Josephson, to use as the set design inspiration for his production.

These are a limited edition of 100 - 17.5" x 23" beautiful giclée prints on fine watercolor paper. This process captures all the vibrant beauty and intricacies of the original watercolor. Each one is individually numbered and personally signed by Ray Bradbury himself. The original artwork no longer exists making this very limited edition a collectible treasure from the Master of Fantasy and Fiction.
